Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Engagement:
- Engage with potential customers to promote solar energy solutions & accessories.
- Use effective sales techniques to generate leads, follow up, and close high-value sales.
- Conduct virtual or in-person consultations, addressing customer needs and recommending the best solar products.
- Negotiate contracts to ensure mutual satisfaction between clients and the company.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities using CRM tools like Salesforce.
Leadership & Team Building:
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a solar sales team to drive business growth.
- Provide guidance and training to junior sales members.
- Develop strategies to improve team performance and achieve sales targets.
Business Growth & Development:
- Build and expand your solar business through strategic networking and marketing.
- Work with top financing partners to offer customers the best solar financing solutions.
- Explore opportunities for multi-state solar expansion with company support.
Technical & Industry Knowledge:
- Stay updated on solar incentives, industry regulations, and financing options.
- Learn and utilize solar proposal and finance software to streamline deals.
- Educate customers on the benefits of solar energy, cost savings, and installation processes.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- 1+ year of experience in solar sales or related sales field.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-confident and able to work independently in a remote(Job) setup.
Preferred (But Not Required):
- Experience with solar proposal software (Solo, Enerflo, SolarGraf, etc.).
- Experience with solar financing platforms (GoodLeap, Sunlight, Mosaic).
- Existing LLC or sales team/organization (not required but beneficial).
